Appalachian Hilltop Family Reunion -

In one week Truth & Salvage Co. will be hosting their very own Appalachian Hilltop Family Reunion Festival in Bill "Smitty" Smith's hometown of Wellston, OH.

I am super stoked about this festival. This will be an annual festival held the weekend of July 4th and this year marks the first annual. This year, the festival is on Saturday, July 6 beginning at 1:00 pm and going into the late afternoon. It hosts six bands with Truth & Salvage Co. wrapping up the festivities around 9:30 pm. The event is geared to local families and the ticket price of $5 makes it very affordable fun. Check out the details on Facebook here.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Golden Rockets Marching Band Boosters, who raise money to fund the high school marching band. This is a great cause and one close to Smitty's heart since he was a member of many marching bands through his music career. We are happy to work with the boosters to keep music in the schools and have "working" instruments.

Wellston is a town which was built on coal and has a beautiful Main St. It is surrounded by lush rolling hills and cool mountain water. Smitty wrote the first single off our new record "Appalachian Hilltop" after his hometown and has named the festival after the song. We hope you will come join us in southern Ohio on July 6 to celebrate the freedom of our country, family, friends, and hometowns.
